SCMP Server transfer

SoftWorks staff worked with SIAPS Bangladesh and Ministry of Health MIS department to transfer Supply Chain Management Portal (https://scmpbd.org) from a SIAPS server to MoH data center. The database contains 8GB+ procurement and logistics related data of last 10 years, and heavily used at various levels of supply chain every day for decision making. There are 21 installations of Warehouse Management Information System (WIMS) and 488 installations of Upazila Inventory Management System (UIMS) - which synchronizes data to SCMP at regular interval.

ECSA TB UAT and Training

SoftWorks developed ECSA TB Supply Chain Portal (http://ecsascportal.org) under MSH CTB project and funded by USAID. SoftWorks Managing Director and MSH Technical Support Lead visited Rwanda, Uganda and Tanzania to conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and training to the country Ministry of Health staff and collect feedback. Support services to SIAPS/BD extended till Sep 2017

SoftWorks have been working with SIAPS/BD since its inception in Bangladesh. SIAPS/BD has extended the support contract with SoftWorks and the work will continue till Sep 2017. SoftWorks to update and roll out ECSA TB Supply Chain Portal in 3 countries

SoftWorks will finalize and rollout ECSA TB Supply Chain Portal in Tanzania, Uganda and Rwanda. SoftWorks will also provide hands-on training to ECSA staff to manage the portal and further roll out to more countries. MSH CTB is collaborating with East Central and Southern Africa health Community Secretariat (ECSAHC) contracted SoftWorks to develop the portal targeting to improve TB commodities availability monitoring and strengthen management of data and commodities for TB.

UIMS V3 TRAINING COMPLETED FOR 488 SITES

SIAPS Bangladesh Logistics Technical Advisors and DGFP Master Trainers completed training of UIMS v3 software to 488 upazila store staff, total 971, with technical assistance from SoftWorks during the period 10 May - 11 June 2015. UIMS v3 was developed by SoftWorks during the period Nov 2014 - Feb 2015 for DGFP, MONFW which is a complete inventory management software for DGFP upazila stores and has ability to sync all data to SCIP web portal.

BCCM web portal was developed under SIAPS Bangladesh project in 2015. A full day hands-on orientation was conducted by SoftWorks support staff to BCCM technical team, the orientation covered Joomla back-end management, creating new menus and articles, uploading news and documents in the portal.

OSPSANTE TRAINING CONDUCTED TO MALI MOH STAFF

SoftWorks Managing Director visited Mali to conduct training to Mali Ministry of Health staff on the newly developed OSPSANTE web portal. Total 160 persons were trained in 4 batches at Hotel Azalai Salam, Bamako. Mr. Seydou Doumbia, Principal Technical Advisor, SIAPS and SIAPS Mali technical staff assisted to conduct different sessions. OSPSANTE is a Health Commodity Dashboard for Mali, Guinea & South Sudan for monitoring Malaria/FP/MCH product stock status.

SOFTWORKS CONDUCTED TOT TO SIAPS/BD AND DGFP STAFF

SoftWorks conducted ToT to SIAPS Bangladesh Logistics Technical Advisors and DGFP Master Trainers, a total of 30 persons on UIMS version 3. The participants were oriented on how to conduct training sessions, installation of UIMS v3, common software and Windows troubleshooting etc. After the ToT the trainees will conduct training to 468 upazila store staff all around Bangladesh.

SOFTWORKS MANAGING DIRECTOR JOINED SIAPS/WA REGIONAL STAKEHOLDERS WORKSHOP AT ACCRA, GHANA

SIAPS West Africa arranged a regional stakeholders workshop at Accra, Ghana on 20-21 April 2015 for discussing and generating feedbacks from the focal countries and other stakeholders on the performance and issues encountered during the implementation of OSPSIDA and way forward. SoftWorks Managing Director was invited to take part in the preparation of the workshop, conduct a presentation on OSPSIDA and OSPSANTE dashboards, analyze recommendations and finalize future tasks/updates related to the OSPSIDA portal.

NASSAH SCMS, NASSAH LOGISTICS SERVICES LTD, GHANA

Development of Bonded Goods Inventory Management and Equipment Tracking System of Nassah Logistics Services Limited. Euroget De Invest S.A. signed contract with the Government of Ghana to finance and construct nine (9) hospitals for the Ministries of Health and Defence. The Logistics service support for the project has been subcontracted to Nassah Logistics and have to setup an international standard holding warehouse for port to destination holdings and delivery. Nassah's job is to receive equipment and materials, hold in stock where or transport direct to the site.
