IT SUPPORT SERVICES FOR SIAPS/BD EXTENDED TILL SEPT 2016

SoftWorks has been providing IT support services to USAID funded SIAPS Bangladesh program since 2010. SoftWorks current service contract ended on end of April, which was extended till Sept 2016. Under the contract SoftWorks will provide support to maintain SCMP, UIMS, WIMS, TB-WIMS and DGDA web portal.

  • Support supply chain management portals for MOHFW
    • Update and finalize Asset Management System for MOHFW: Develop modules of Asset Management System, Presentation, orientation, UAT and feedback collection and Update based on feedback
    • Customization to SCMP: Customize reports based on user needs

  • Support Inventory Management Systems
    • WIMS v3 and UIMS v3 rollout
    • WIMS v3 customizations
    • WIMS v3 rollout to 21 warehouses
    • UIMS v3 customizations
    • UIMS v3 rollout to 488 warehouses
    • TB-WIMS customizations
    • Conduct orientation, UAT, training and presentation on TB-WIMS

  • Capacity Building: Train/reā€train users in collaboration with selected master trainers on WIMS/UIMS to ensure effective implementation of updated version in 488 upazilas/21 RWHs
    • Conduct TOT to Master Trainers
    • Training to MOHFW IT Team

  • Support Services: Support WIMS, UIMS, TB-WIMS, SCMP, DGDA portal and other SIAPS supported HIS initiatives (on site & off site assistance using phone, email, remote desktop and/or Virtual Private Network)

Management Sciences for Health (MSH) has been awarded the USAID Systems for Improved Access to Pharmaceuticals and Services (SIAPS) program, which will run from September 23rd 2011 to January 2017. The goal of SIAPS is to assure the availability of quality pharmaceutical products and effective pharmaceutical services to achieve desired health outcomes. In support to the implementation of SIAPS program, MSH is joined by five core partners and six specialized resource partners including VillageReach.
