SoftWorks received contract from Management Sciences for Health (MSH) to develop a web portal to track and measure Pharmaceutical System Strengthening. This site will present an indicator-based monitoring tool that will be used by USAID priority countries.

Tootal Quality Resources Limited (TQRL) signed a contract with SoftWorks to deliver a web based software system for management of their textile machinery & spare parts stock sales. The software has option for machineray stock, spae parts stock, sales visits & maintenance visits.

SoftWorks have been working with SIAPS/BD since its inception in Bangladesh. SIAPS/BD has extended the support contract with SoftWorks and the work will continue till Mar 2018. SoftWorks will maintain the existing tools like SCMP, UIMS, WIMS, DGDA Portal, TB-WIMS, AMS, Pharmadex & eTBManager.

Hohenstein-BD intend to implement an inventory management system for its laboratory efficiently with an automated software system for maintaining laboratory items from receive to end usages i.e. used in consumption. The proposed system will be able to manage and track all laboratory store items to the point of receive to use in production, transfer to other store, provision receive, return etc.

SoftWorks worked with SIAPS Mali to design and roll out OSPSANTE dashboard to collect, analyze and disseminate FP/MCH/Malaria/ARV/Ebola commodity LMIS and patient information, which was completed by 2016. DHIS2 implementation in Mali started from 2016. Based on request from USAID, SoftWorks received contract from SIAPS Mali to implement interoperability between DHIS2 and OSPSANTE.

Liberia Collaborative Support for Health (CSH) program of MSH wants to develop a web-based Early Warning System that provide supply chain information for public health programs to support evidence-based decision making. The dashboard will provide access to stock status and consumption information that will provide forecasting and timely procurement using national and donor resources. CSH program contracted SoftWorks to develop the eLMIS Dashboard.

MSH sub-contracted SoftWorks in 2015 to develop and implement a web-based Pharmaceutical Management Information Dashboard, for the Namibian Ministry of Health and Social Services (MoHSS). SoftWorks also developed Facility Electronic Stock Card (FESC) tool which is used in all major hospitals for stock management in Namibia. Mobile Electronic Dispensing Tool (mEDT) was running in clinics and outreaches of Namibia health system for dispensing to ART patients, with some difficulties. SIAPS reached out to SoftWorks again in Sept 2017 to redesign the mEDT tool to run on tablets and mobile phones to improve user experience.

SIAPS Guinea planned to introduce an electronic tool for aggregating the routine data from the paper based LMIS in order to facilitate their processing and better show the improvement bring through that LMIS by the end of the SIAPS Program in Guinea. To reach that objective, the SIAPS Office of Guinea contracted SoftWorks to develop a LMIS dashboard, similar to the one that has been developed in Mali, to be used internally as an electronic aggregating tool for LMIS reports.

Swaziland CTS has been rolled out in Nov 2014 to monitor stock status of health commodities at different health facilities and warehouses. This is the third upgrade cnotract awarded to SoftWorks from SIAPS Swaziland to incorporate Narcotics LMIS form and offline data entry options in the CTS.

Sierra Leone Pharmaceutical Dashboard has been developed to monitor supply chain KPIs of major health commodities, targeting to reduce stockout and overstock. SoftWorks Managing Director, Mahmudul Islam in collaboration with SIAPS Sierra Leone staff conducted training to 60+ central and district level Ministry of Health and Sanitation staff on the use of dashboard.

SoftWorks staff worked with SIAPS Bangladesh and Ministry of Health MIS department to transfer Supply Chain Management Portal (https://scmpbd.org) from a SIAPS server to MoH data center. The database contains 8GB+ procurement and logistics related data of last 10 years, and heavily used at various levels of supply chain every day for decision making. There are 21 installations of Warehouse Management Information System (WIMS) and 488 installations of Upazila Inventory Management System (UIMS) - which synchronizes data to SCMP at regular interval.

SoftWorks developed ECSA TB Supply Chain Portal under MSH CTB project and funded by USAID. SoftWorks Managing Director and MSH Technical Support Lead visited Rwanda, Uganda and Tanzania to conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and training to the country Ministry of Health staff and collect feedback. They also trained ECSA staff to get their feedback to finalize the tool. The portal has been finalized and ready for rollout in ECSA member countries.

SoftWorks have been working with SIAPS/BD since its inception in Bangladesh. SIAPS/BD has extended the support contract with SoftWorks and the work will continue till Sep 2017. SoftWorks will maintain the existing tools like SCMP, UIMS, WIMS, DGDA Portal as well as roll out TB-WIMS in TB Central Warehouse, assist in implementation of Pharmadex at DGDA and implementaton of Asset Management System (AMS) in selected hospitals under DGHS/MOHFW.

SoftWorks will finalize and rollout ECSA TB Supply Chain Portal in Tanzania, Uganda and Rwanda. SoftWorks will also provide hands-on training to ECSA staff to manage the portal and further roll out to more countries. MSH CTB is collaborating with East Central and Southern Africa health Community Secretariat (ECSAHC) contracted SoftWorks to develop the portal targeting to improve TB commodities availability monitoring and strengthen management of data and commodities for TB.

SIAPS Sierra Leone plans to introduce a complementary approach for an enhanced information display platform or dashboard optimizing the use of existing stock management, dispensing and continuous performance system. SoftWorks was contracted to develop the dashboard consiering their experience in developing health commodity dashboards for other countries. The dashboard will ensure availability of data from each health facility and supply structure.

In Oct 2016, SoftWorks Managing Director visited Mali to provide support to Mali MoH to include Ebola commodities in the OSPSANTE tool, support SIAPS/Mali team to conduct three days Orientation on the HIV & AIDS and nutrition portal. He also conducted technical training to DPM/ANTIM team on OSPSANTE management.

SoftWorks started working on the National Department of Health Pharmaceutical Service Management Dashboard for South Africa in March 2016 and completed by mid-July 2016. Provincial users received training at end of July 2016 and currently using the software for pharmaceutical service monitoring.

SoftWorks was contracted to finalize OSPSIDA and conduct orientation to system managers of West Africa Health Organization (WAHO) and equip them to maintain OSPSIDA dashboard for West Africa. The task also include copy OSPSIDA and transferring to Cameroon server. SoftWorks Managing Director Mahmudul Islam visited Burkina Faso and Cameroon to conduct both of the trainings.

SoftWorks has been working as a software vendor with USAID funded SPS program and then SIAPS project for 6+ years. During this time SoftWorks has developed, implemented and supported several pharmaceutical management information systems, dashboards and tools. SoftWorks was selected as 'Specialized IT Resource Partner' of SIAPS project starting from 2016, primarily to assist SIAPS in development of common information system platforms for collecting and sharing data, developing links/interoperability between systems and help MOH/local stakeholders build capacity to support information technology driven initiatives.

SoftWorks has been providing IT support services to USAID funded SIAPS Bangladesh program since 2010. SoftWorks current service contract ended on end of April, which was extended till Sept 2016. Under the contract Softworks will provide support to maintain SCMP, UIMS, WIMS, TB-WIMS and DGDA web portal.

Swaziland CTS has been rolled out in Nov 2014 to monitor stock status of health commodities at different health facilities and warehouses. SIAPS Swaziland contracted SoftWorks to do minor modifications in data entry and reporting system based on country needs, monitor system health and database performance, regular backup of data and check quality of data.

UK based TMA Systems Limited outsourced the development of NDT Certificate Management System to SoftWorks. SoftWorks assisted TMA Systems earlier to maintain two already developed software of Intertek named Training Log and Equipment Log. Based on the smooth functioning of the above two projects, TMA Systems decided to work with SoftWorks again.
